I set out to create a believable environment in Unreal Engine 4 in order to round out my Level Art portfolio. I settled on a desert environment with an animated mechanical element in order to expand outside my comfort zone. This is technically my first In-Engine work as all of my previous projects were rendered in either Marmoset or Blender.
I will upload each asset separately in the coming days in order to better showcase them.
All assets were modeled by me with the exception of the Quixel Megascan Desert pack from the Unreal Marketplace which was used to enhance the look of the desert background. I used free textures from textures.com for the landscape painting and the fence along with its barb wire. The barrel assets use the peeling paint material by Mario Dalla Bona from his Gumroad page.
